Anyone know what this is?

Ok, I ran across a neat looking flipper on the bay tonight. It was listed as used and had no info other than what you can see in the pictures. I have no idea who makes it and was hoping someone here might recognize it.

It would be nice to see some pictures that are not badly out of focus and without that stupid Phlembucket watermark....

Sorry, all I've got at the moment are the screenshots from the auction. When the knife arrives I plan to post better pictures. I went ahead and bought it because I like the looks of it. If it turns out to be some no- name piece of junk, I'm out $13. If the blade is actually S35VN like it says I figure it's worth the gamble.

I've never heard of Serge Panchenko before. I did a little googling and it does appear to be a Serge Panchenko Bean, or a clone of one. The seller appears to be from Ohio and sells a bunch of random stuff. They did not advertise the knife as a Serge Panchenko, just that it was used and to see the photos for condition. If the knife turns out to be fake, I'm not gonna cry over $13. I'll just use it as a box opener/loaner. Thanks for leading me in the right direction. I'll post some better pics wherever I have the knife in hand. Who knows, I might have just won the knife lottery! LoL

Looks like a clone. Probably still a decent little knife for $13 though

I'm thinking that as well. All the pictures I'm seeing of the real deal show the screws matching the finish of the scales. These screws are polished while the scales look to be bead blasted Titanium. But, like you said probably not a bad knife for what I paid.

I was going to say "A cheap no-name Asian Import knife shaped object being sold for not so cheap."
However, the "not so cheap" does not fit, taking the selling price into consideration.

I hope you find it satisfactory and useable. :)

(Nothing personal. It is not a style of knife I would ever use or carry.)

Just to be the optimist here, while yes, $13 for a Serge Pachenko is rediculously cheap, considering that the "seller" did not advertise it as such, means he/she very well may have had no idea what they had, and without the "key words", nobody on the lookout for a Serge Pachenko specifically, would have gotten a "hit" in their saved searched items list, so while the markings look at first glance legit, and it could very well be a "quality counterfeit" (worst knife oxymoron ever), it could also be the angry ex-wife selling off her ex-husbands old "$#%+" without having a clue, and you very well may have won the lottery whereas more "savvy" knife buyers either never saw it, or stayed cautious... I'm no expert on his work one way or the other, just trying to keep the vibe positive... I know I've gotten lucky on a few straight razors over the years due to simple mispellings & improper or mis-listings...

Sorry guys, I forgot all about this thread until I got a notification about the recent replies. I did receive the knife and looked it over carefully. After comparing some photos and videos of known fakes, I am confident that this one is a counterfeit as well. Honestly though, aside from that it really is a great knife. The quality and construction are on par with my ZT's/Benchmade/Spyderco. I do carry the knife frequently because it's a fun little knife and it holds an edge for a while. Since it is a fake and I won't sell it, I figured that I might as well use it. I have since looked at Mr. Panchenkos current offerings and may actually order one later this year. I will post a few current pictures when I get a chance.

Ya win some, ya lose some. $13 for something you like and use is no biggie and since you were gambling it's real rather than buying something you knew was a clone, no harm, no foul. Good luck next time. :)
