I notice this bumper sticker on some cars now and then, and I'm curious about what it's for or what it means. Its two horizontal gold bars in a field of blue. If you can enlighten me on this, please do- thanks.

I think it's a gay rights logo. Google it with the description you provided. I usually see it with a Nader or Bush-bashing bumper sticker accompanying it, so draw your own conclusions.

What isn't a gay-rights logo these days? I'm mean seriously, you can't put anything on your car these days without it being somehow a gay thing.

That's not as bad as the Inca flag controversy. I just remembered this from the BBC last year: Inca concern over 'gay' flag.

The world's gay community and the ancient South American Inca people have a common source of pride - the rainbow flag.

The flags are virtually identical - the Inca one has an additional blue stripe - which has led to growing confusion among tourists visiting Cuzco, one of Peru's most popular tourism destinations and sacred capital of the Inca empire.

Hey thanks everyone. I kind of thought thats what it was, it's on the car of a family member who's a lesbian and I noticed it on the car of someone who I kind of thought was gay. (I guess that's my sterytopical part of the brain goin there or something...)

Here on campus, we have an ever-growing organization, at least in regards to it' s title.
Started out as the GLA. (Gay-Lesbian alliance) Then expanded to GLTA. Gay, Lesbian, and Transgendered. Then, GLTQ- Gay, lesbian, transgendered, and "questioning". Now, they've added another "A", for "Allies".

"Come to the GLTQA ball...."
