Anyone Know What This Object Is? Or Used For?

I'll take a crack at it. Does the OZ in the bottom represent 'ounces'? If you fill it to the first line on the inside, it's 1/2 oz., the next is 1 oz. and so forth? Since there's no pic of the exterior, I'm shootin' in the dark here.
