It was at a pawnshop. I didn’t buy it. Just took the pic that you see

Beveled bolsters it looks like.
Probably not that old, even if it is a reblade.
My old 2 Dot for example can't get a reblade because of changes in dimensions since the 1970's.

To me that sounds like a good thing. I wouldn't want a new style blade in an old two dot. It would seem out of place.

Wouldn't the change in steel be considered a "downgrade" also? (From 440C to 420HC -- not trying to be a "steel snob", just curious if this would be the case.)

I'd say yes, but 420hc is decent for what it is. all things equal I'd prefer 440c myself.
