Beveled bolsters it looks like.It could be a replacement blade.
My old 2 Dot for example can't get a reblade because of changes in dimensions since the 1970's.![]()
To me that sounds like a good thing. I wouldn't want a new style blade in an old two dot. It would seem out of place.

I'd say yes, but 420hc is decent for what it is. all things equal I'd prefer 440c myself.Wouldn't the change in steel be considered a "downgrade" also? (From 440C to 420HC -- not trying to be a "steel snob", just curious if this would be the case.)
