I've been looking for a BK-5 for a while without success, used is fine. They've been discountinued, which is sad, so I've had trouble finding one. Anyone know of a source? Thanks.

Nobody,
I saw one last week @ a sporting goods store....

Nichols Store, Rock Hill, SC 803-328-9792. They had 1 left in their display case. I'm sure they would ship it to you.....

Good luck!

Maurice, the AG catalog lists a BK7 for that much but not a BK5 at all. You know something I don't?

Nobody, assuming Maurice got the model number correct (I assume he did) and you are both talking about the same knife, then yeah, he probably knows something you dont.

He works at Ag Russells....give him a call, he will fix ya up if at all possible.

Having an inside contact at A.G. Russell is probably your best bet since I can't verify if any of these shops actually have one in stock, but they all act like they'll still sell them to you. Caveat emptor (*note: one vendor here is Botach, many participants on here won't do business with them, but I've never had any trouble. YMMV.)

:) Good info, I'll call today. I suspected that Maurice knew something I didn't, that's why I asked.

Boo-hoo-hoo, I knew it was too good to be true...:(
No BK-5's at A.G.'s

If anyone is still looking, we have four available.

All four are gone, sorry, they didn't last long!:(

Thanks CherylR! I appreciate your info and look forward to receiving the knife!:D Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear Nobody, happy birthday to me!

Hey! Somebody from High Pockets! The internet makes the world a much smaller place. Most of family is up your way, I'm pretty much the only who moved east. Anyway, looking forward to getting the knife. It'll be a special knife for me as I attended Jerry Fisk's National Living Treasure Award ceremony at UNCW. I got the chance to talk to him and found Mr. Fisk to be an humble, extremely nice gentleman willing to share any and all bladesmithing experience he had.
