anyone know where to get a good mail glove? Do they make one that are just L or R hand, or are they all ambidextrous?

Restaurant supply stores sell em, as do fine cooking stores. Mainly for protection when using knives. I know some of the fastfood restaurants have their employees use them when they cut food as well.

Just looking for a glove that goes up forearm a bit.

I saw some of the SS ones for resturant supply.

Mostly want one for certain sharpening operations & stuff like that around the shop.

Might experiment w/ knife fighting drill w/ one, which was very common in certain times.

Just for fun as a martial artist. Knife fighting is serious business though, not something you EVER want to have to do if you can somehow avoid it.

i have kevlar gloves for working on knives. they work pretty good for handling sharp knives.

Either is correct. I prefer "mail" for simplicity.
