Hi everyone, this is my first post but not my first visit. I've been reading threads here for years and have found lots of great information and really appreciate the people that post and share their knowledge on BladeForums not to mention the administrators. Anyway I'd like to know if anyone recognizes this knife? All I know about it is that I got it from someone in Georgia, the blade is 5 1/2" x 1/4" thick at the guard and the overall is 10 3/8". It is stamped on both sides above the guard with RW D-2, the single guard is nickle silver,it is a hidden tang with a split stag handle that is made up of black (thick and thin) and (thin) nickle silver spacers under the guard and again between the two piece stag. It has a lined nickle silver thong hole and a 3/8" round flush butt cap. It is old and other than a few dings the fit and finish of the knife and sheath are Master quality. The sheath is unusual in that it has a large odd shaped stone pouch on the front, which I know I've seen before but can't remember where, and another small stone pouch on the back. My email address is gswilder@att.net if anyone would like to see pictures of it just shoot an email and I'll get them out asap. Thanks
