Anyone know what a 290SP Rush is? I've been told it's rather hard to find.

Mitch, Are you sure its the 'SP'? Because all the Buck Rush 290's are in the catalog from 2005 to 2011 and none are listed as SP. Its a 2.5" locking, single, assisted opening blade with a webed frame. Offered with different steels at different times. I'm sure they were offered before 2005. This model is out of my forte but I'm trying to help. DM

From what I understand it is a solid body with some type of ivory inlay. I believe the cat. number is 988?.

This is listed as a Limited Edition 1 of 1000, Buck 290SP Rush with tear drop Damascus and mastodon bark ivory. It's listed as "sold out".

The one I linked a photo to was listed as having an retail of $350.00. Arizona Custom Knives (now out of stock) has an old listing with a price of $225.00. There is one on Gunsamerica for $350 but it has an offer on it at this time.
