Well, honestly I was looking for it around the time I was also looking at Warcraft Tanto, it was pretty much stocked out everywhere.

Now I found on some site that it's discontinued, and I found the same about DLC coated SRK in 3V!

Anyone else has knows recently discontinued CS knives? Or this for 3V Recon Tanto is an old news?

Haven't seen one, but if you plug the knife in question into their website it will say so, not sure how current that is though. But probably the best you can do short of calling or emailing maybe.

I didn't really plan to buy, but I just wanted to see it's price because since I have SK-5 version and I wanted to buy something I'll use if it ever fails me - I had the 3V version on my mind.
And I know it's price here used to be around 250€ and around 220€ online, and that I was waiting for it to be back on stock and potentially on a discount too, but it never happened so I looked at alternatives - Master Tanto and Warcraft Tanto, but I honestly didn't think I'll actually buy either.

Warcraft Tanto was still significantly more expensive Than 3V Recon Tanto tho (Warcraft Tanto cost 399€ in store, and 299€ online), so I waited, and one day I received my friend's text on whatsapp "It's on 33% discount! I got one for myself for 200€!" with a screenshot of his purchase, and I got one too that same day. It's from legit European webshop so why not?

Anyways, now something just made me wonder about current pricing of 3V Recon Tanto, I opened some sites, some say "Unavailable" and some say "Discontinued". So, it's kinda mind blowing that such a proven and time tested design is selling bad in 3V steel? I know that SK-5 version is always up there on first page when you choose to show products by popularity.

Me too, D2 and 3V have enough stain resitance for that, so I won't be surprised to see stonewashed Leatherneck too.

But when it comes to steels like SK-5 then I'll rather have coated blade.
A stonewashed or satin Leatherneck would be handsome AF.

It seems that Magnum Warcraft Tanto bites the dust too... unless uncoated version appears like it did with Medium one.
