Anyone knows if the new Inova 5X is released already?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody already has received an the new improved INOVA 5X that was to be 'released end of June.

I'm waiting for one to be send to a friend in the US who will then send it to me in the Netherlands, but time is running short as my holiday is starting July 19, and I would love to have tested it on a some day long cave expeditions in France

I still see it as "pre-order" at the TAD-gear site ?

I called TAD yesterday. The person I spoke to said that the X5's will be delivered to them tomorrow, Friday.

Thanks very much, with a little luck my forum buddy will be able to get me the light and some other goodies before my holiday.

Perhaps TAD-gear will send with a faster service (3 day) as they now offer a 10% discount on all orders in July and 'ours' still is not delivered ;)

There was another company that had already released the X-5T that was discussed on Candlepower forums, called County Comm that have been shipping since 6/28.

TAD is apparently ready to start shipping, but you may want to double check if they're ready to go.

One Stop Knife Shop has the X-5T listed as well, but they're not stating if they're waiting for product or shipping already.

County Comm might be your first bet, as we know they're sending them out the door.
