It is also known as 1.2442 if that helps in your googling. It is a low alloy steel available in relatively small quantities. That means it is primarily used by forging bladesmiths who are also less likely to make "tactical" knives especially folders. It is in the same ballpark properties-wise as 1.2519 and the V-Toku and Blue series of steels produced in Japan.
