The Warenski Tut knife is probably considered one of the top ultimate grail custom knives ever built. The story about how he built it is absolutely fascinating.

There have been a few Blade articles. Don't quote me, but I think the most recent was about 2 years ago-ish.
I believe the story is on his website which is run by his wife Julie!

View attachment 1298492 I saw one of the original Tutankhamen knives when the exhibit was in Chicago. Buster's big 3 are the Tut knife, the Gem of the Orient, and the other one on the right in this picture that I can't find the name for. Not my picture.

I believe that it was called Fire and Ice or something similar. All three are incredible pieces of work and well out of the price range of mere mortals.
I've seen one other one that was actually posted for sale here that was in the spirit of these knives although not nearly so ornate. Blade also did an article on Warenski last year.
