My brother in law was given a TiVo as a gift. His buddy who gave it to him is insisting that he gets the service on it, or the buddy loses the $100 rebate. So, my BIL is basically being pressured into getting the service, although he is in a transitional period and is living with us for the next few months before he starts a new job in Chicago this summer. Because of that he was going to start the service in the summer, but the rebate has to be in by the end of February. According to the rewards/referral program, you can get an iPod, for example, for 4 referrals. He's looking for someone who may be interested in, say, paying for 3 months of service ($39) in exchange for the referral. I don't know a thing about TiVo, so if this is frowned upon let me know! I'm just tryin' to help a brutha out! Thanks, guys! He's doing an unpaid internship right now, so he is cashless, and my wife and I don't want to pay for it because we could care less, but I thought maybe someone here would want to do this.
