Anyone noticed? Starbenza change....

Noticed a change a little while back when I saw a new starbenza in person. Knew I should've bought a back up when I had a chance.

Anyone prefer the new style?

Well. Since the pattern changed as well. I cant make a judgement without seeing a picture of more than the pivot area.

I DO however prefer the original lettering and placement.
 
The English language is meant to be read left to right. I really prefer the original.

My large WC21 had the old logo with a birthdate of 8/26/15 but scales are stamped A15. It does however have the newest design of washers.

I don't believe much of the design pattern changed other than what you see in the picture. On the sebenza at least.

Hell I thought it was 2013, but pics and posts in this thread have definitely changed my mind on that.

Strange.... well that does give me hope I may be able to find a small lefty old logo.
 
It's seem that they're just starting to phase it in while using the rest of the old style. Wonder if anybody has one with a 2016 birthdate or a Nov/Dec date?

I think I need to ask Wilson combat again if they have any lefty old stock. Last time I asked they said no.
 
Could be old stock on the scales that need to be burned through.. Check the inside of the scale for a date code.

I think that would be in line with the release of the Sebenza 25. The first 30 went to dealers late 2012. Shortly after the first release, they started becoming more abundant.
I can't recall when the WC 25's were first offered. I think it was a while. I think it was like a year before a left handed 25 was offered. And don't forget the batch that didn't have the star pattern, just the WC Logo.
 
As an update to this thread... it appears lefties are in luck. If you were looking to score a small logo large/small starbenza 21, WC still has them for lefties. All right handers are new large logo. I don't know how many lefties remain with the small script, but they are minus a small 21 already ha!
 
I just picked up a 2012 with the small marking.
Took a quick pic a few minutes ago, but didn't get one with the lock side.
 
My January 2016 Starbenza 25 has the older logo as shown earlier in this thread. I called Wilson Combat and the young man in customer service went the extra mile to go grab one, take a photo and email it to me.
