I'm looking to get 2 knives sharpened.

Fallkniven F1. It's convexed.
Izula. Its a V edge but I would like it re profiled to a convex.

Josh (Razor Edge LLC), Jason B and Heavy Handed come to mind.
They are Service Provider on this forum.

Chris called it, any one of these cats will provide you with some really sharp knives, drop them a line. Russ

Jason would be the man at convexing, shoot him a pm or email

Classy move by Josh. He does great work.

I have never dealt with Jason B, but his rep here is 100% solid and by all accounts he does great work. I would not hesitate to use him.

Nothing classy about it ;) Jason does good work and I'm sure he does better convex edges than me, I do them on a belt, he does them by hand =)

Love to see completed pics when done!

Both Josh and Jason are well known. I haven't personally seen Josh's work but I have a knife I recently purchased that Jason sharpened. Very nice work. My compliments to you Jason. I'm sure either will fulfill your expectations.

Jason, how do you do your convex edges?

I use a few different methods depending on the knife. I have a JRE sharpening block for the sandpaper method and waterstones for a more traditional approach. The JRE block is great for smaller blades or convex knives with good pre set geometries. Thicker knives that need more material removal is where I usually transition to waterstones. It's more complex though because when you use waterstones it can be a bit ugly at a medium/fine level so you have to know a few tricks to finish the blade.

So with the F1 will you use JRE or waterstones? What did you use when you sharpened my knife last time?

Probably the JRE Block, I don't think I was using stones for convex last time I saw your knife.
