for a couple weeks now it has given me the spinning beach ball of eternity when trying to crop & rotate pics...when it does stop spinning and allows me to edit, it refuses to save most of the time!

It is finicky for me sometimes as well. So I stopped using it and just edit in my phone and attach them directly now.
