Anyone order from Benchmade?

Why would anyone ever order directly from benchmade? any knife shop will sell there stuff for less. As far as BM's customer service it speaks for it self. They have great customer service, I doubt you'll find anyone who will say different.

Seriously, why would you pay their MSRP when you could save $75 or more online?

Benchmade has one of the finest customer service reputations around. What issues have you ecountered?

I bought a special run Nimravus 145 in 440C. It was one of 80 made. And suprisingly I only paid a $100. That is about the same price of the BT on ebay. It just isn't here yet and I'm getting pissed!!! They said it shipped Weds. with two day UPS. But guess what...??? NO KNIFE YET!!! Plus the first time actually placed the order for this knife was online two weeks ago with three day select! Three days passed so I called and they never got the order in.Then they Said that were shipping it out so I would have it Monday of last week...guess what??? Never got it...Then I called and it never even left the warehouse...so then they said last Weds. and with the holiday it should been here yesterday... What the F! When I called the chick in charge of limited edition knives and asked her about my order she said ,with real attitude..."Are you sure you order from Benchmade?!?!" I was floored...
 
Ive done business with there customer service many times. Only one time did I ever have a problem, but they were quick to make it right. theres been a couple of times Ive needed parts and they've sent them to me a t no charge!!!

now thats customer service!!! now on the issue of ordering from them? never have ordered a knife directly....I prefer not to pay retail!!!
I think their servie is great though!!!

I found out what the issue is! lol They ran out of that Nimravus and are in the process of making more! lol JESUS...

So, the question is, why didn't they just say that in the first place, instead of getting you all pushed out of shape? It's still no laughing matter to get jerked around by someone in "customer service" no matter what "everyone" else seems to think about their customer service.
