Anyone own a 6 serrated?

I'm thinking of getting one for my backpack EDC. I'm thinking of the part serrated , as it will see city use cutting straps, cable ties, rope , as well as bush use if I can't get at my main stash.. Esee serrations pose no sharpening issues as far as I'm concerned, as they do not have micro serrations to deal with ,and have flats between the serrations to allow sharpening on regular stones.
So , if anyone here has one , I'd like to know how it's been for ya with the serrations for general use. I see one at a good price , and may hit it. Thanks much :)
 
You got to be kidding. No one here has one :confused:
Just curious if someone had one and maybe liked the darn thing :o
 
I have a friend who said he even sharpens the serrations on a sharpmaker ,no problem. I'm thinking of getting it as a general purpose back-up. Some of the stuff I have to cut through is pretty tough/slippery , and I think the serrations will allow me a better starting cut. I know the 6 is a good heavy-duty knife ; I was just curious about the serrated issue.
