For those of you that have owned this knife for a while how has it held up? Just curious if it develops any lock rock, blade play, sticky lock, or any of the other common boker plus syndromes.

Just bought one the other day - should be here any day now. If I have time I'll post some pics and my initial thoughts on it.

I own the common version and the KC exclusive version. The common version I got was used and has slight vertical lock rock. The KC version has solid but sticky lock. I plan to keep both as I love the design. I recommend the KC version as it is the better flipper.

I really wish boker would get it together with their ti framelocks. How hard can it be to adjust the angle of the blade where it contacts the lockface to avoid this issue. So many other companies do it right and if boker could just fix these issues I'd buy so many more of their knives.

I've had this knife for over a year and love it. It gets into my pocket rotation at least once a month. Pivot is great. But I have to fire it with a finger nail.

Which one is the exclusive version? I see only two models on the KC site: a black blade and a satin blade. Did I miss it? Been thinking about getting one of these for a while now.

Can you posts pics of the KC version?

The KC exclusive is the black blade. The lock on it is breaking in nicely with minimal sticking now. Here's a picture of both:

Here's my mini review on it (Be gentle: still new at this making videos for youtube stuff ;-))

So no issues? I bought the manaro bullseye and it started sticking imediately then as it broke in a bit it started slipping. Really unfortunate because other then that the did a beautiful job. I think it is because of the extreme angle of the tang where it contacts the framelock. From your pics the tang looks to be at a much less steep angle then the manaro. I'd love to get one of these because of the marriage between classic design and new features.

I purchased this model about a year ago and was happily surprised! At first blush I thought the flipper was way under sized. But as I gradually broke the muscle memory in my index finger in, I got quite comfortable with it. I do notice a bit of stickiness sometimes but it seems only when the humidity changes do I see any problem. The titanium scales and the VG10 steel with a mirror finish play off each other through the lightning holes. It gets a lot of pocket time due to its slender imprint and virtual weightlessness.

No issues at all with the KC version. Flipping it is as easy as my flipper modded Kwaiken. I wrote a little review for the knife on the product page at KC. The polished version still requires a bit of effort to flip consistently. The lock geometry looks very good IMO. I also own an Epicenter where the lock is slipping. That's Boker for ya.

How come? Let's hear ab out your experience with Boker :-)

1. Search my username & you'll find 2 posts about a failed boker epicenter gen2 which is total china crap materials.
2. i got no help from boker beside send it & we will check it, which mean pay 50 euros for shipping
and we grantee NOTHING.
3. boker Facebook replay was on the lines & with a hint of antisemitic..
