I tried searching the forums, but it came up with no results.

So anyone own one of these things? They look pretty, but how do they perform?

I've never owned one, but have handled a few. They look really neat, and the crystalline surface of the titanium blade is beautiful. I do own a titanium bladed neck-knife, though. It takes a fairly sharp edge (can scrape hair off of my arm), and does well enough opening mail, and cutting food. Even though the blade is softer than steel,it takes very little work to get it sharp after becoming dull. Carbon fiber is a great handle material in terms of weight and toughness, but it does get scratched fairly easily.

Overall, I would think the Boker Orion would be a great dress-up knife, but would fail as an everyday hard work utility knife. That's just my opinion based on the materials involved. Boker does have great customer service here in the US, though.

I would get one of their Skywalker folders with the 440C blade, if I had a choice.

I've got both. They are both light in the pocket and work well enough for a Gent's folder. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a backspacer. Coins and other pockt stuff can get to the blade edge.

Both of the knives are very cool and have enough "wow" factor for nonknife people to ask about instead of running away screaming.
