Anyone own a Cityscape UG?

My favourite of the hand done graphics is the Cityscape/Skyline they offered back in the day. I don't think they offer it anymore (?). Does anyone have one of these knives? Please post some pics so I can drool!

Thanks for the link Falco. They seem to come in both a 911 tribute version and a nameless city version. The city is hand made on the milling machine from what I recall from that very early CRK factory tour video, and it seems the cities are similar, but not all the same. I recall seeing one with a night sky above it as well.

The somewhat light showing here makes me wonder if these are even rarer than I thought.

To my knowledge, all of the "In Remembrance" UG are, as you say, "9/11 tribute versions". I remember talking with Lisa before she implemented mine, discussing if it made sense to include the text or not. She mentioned that some customers didn't like the text, because it was restating the obvious. I, however, really like the text. My reasoning was, as time passes, an increasing number of folks will view the knife and will not have experienced the horror of the day like many of us still remember so vividly. The text will become increasingly more helpful to such folks.

I do not know of cityscape UG that doesn't depict the NY skyline with the outline of the missing twin towers depicted. If someone's seen one, I'd love to see it!

Incidentally, I haven't ordered a UG for many years, but it used to be that you could request a version of any UG design that Lisa has designed herself and implemented (this is not the case for UG's that someone else designed, and had Lisa implement -- for such cases, CRK would respect the initial client's "ownership" for the design, and not duplicated w/o first acquiring permission). Unless that's changed, if Lisa's still on staff, you'd likely be able to have her make an "In Remembrance" for you.

Fooj,

Ok maybe I am imagining things. I thought for sure I had seen a skyline without the twin towers, but maybe I am wrong. I'll have to hunt around a bit. I also think they were only done on the "regular" slabs, but are the examples on the 21 as well?
