So, I like the JEB survival tool called JUST. I unfortunately can NOT seem to obtain one from JEB...no new news to most. I am wondering if anyone owns one that I might borrow???:o

I would like to inspect and obtain some measurements to have a custom version made. I would also like to get a feel for it to see if it is worth anything a survival tool.

I am hoping Gundy or Cerberus might own one or know someone that does.

PS: not looking to discuss JEB business practices...been there, done that. I just want to obtain/borrow a JUST.

Nguyen, there is a picture of the JUST from Jensen at the link below. If you decide you want to deal with Jensen, be sure to look in the Good, Bad, and Ugly (GBU) forum here on Bladeforums for comments on their customer service. Just a word of caution.

Seems like a great design. However, if it's not available and the company is questionable then I think I will pass.

I just want to get a hold of one and I am sure I can probably get one made...if not by JEB then by someone else...it is a fairly simple hunk of metal.

I read a thread somewhere awhile back (maybe in this forum, maybe not) where someone had been trying to order one of those for a long time and had no luck in getting even an email response. Probably not a good sign.

A copy of another makers work isn't going to be appreciated by many, especially when it is a fairly origional design. Why not contact any of the many custom makers, tell them what you are looking for (general goals) and see what they come up with.

Why would you need to make an exact copy?

Get out a piece of paper, draw a similar shape(oversized) cut the shape out of cardboard and "fine tune" the shape to your hand and any other dimensional requirements you might have then cut out your shape(or have a shop do it for $25) in your favorite steel!

Something custom that fits in with your gear the best would beat the heck out of anything you could buy and you might get a new hobby out of the deal :)
