Just wondering if anyone still rides. I have 4 friends with dirt bikes, so i plan on getting a cr250 next week. What bike do you have , pics would be cool too.

Hehe- my last motocross bike would go into a history museum. Vintage 1974 or so, a roaring Hodaka 100cc fire-breather. Actually, it was a pretty hot bike for the times, just when "serious" motocross was getting a good start.
Mine had a ported engine with a custom head, a reed valve (new stuff then), a muchly-altered frame (lowered and lengthened) and a leading-link front end.
I suffered two broken bones in two seasons of AMA "sportsman" racing, and decided that bicycles were a better idea.

I ride a DR650, my wife a CRF150, Daughters (2) a CRF100, and a CRF70.

We also have an '05 Yamaha Rhino too. She's sporting her tracks for the winter right now. The only thing that sucks is Maine requires two registrations for the same vehicle. ATV for summer and Snowmobile for winter. We mostly use it as a work vehicle- hauling wood, garbage cans, plowing snow, sanding the driveway, etc. I made a removable canoe/kayak rack for it, and bought an ATV trailer to haul our camping equipment. We take it camping a few times each summer.

Here's a pic of my rhino with tires, and a net pic of one with tracks, my 650 and a CRF 150. The 100 and 70 are just smaller versions of it.

I got a Honda 500cc dirt bike, honda 200x racing 3 wheeler, and a Polaris 4x4 Sportsman 700cc twin.

This is my current toy. Bought it so I could take my boys for rides in relative safety. Only 150cc but a lot of fun.

I treat my poor Honda 919 like a big dirt bike. I have even been considering taking off my street wheels and putting on a set of spoked wheels and tires from a BMW GS. A new exaust would be pretty much mandatory as the cool for the street stock exaust runs under the engine. It would get smashed on rocks.
Still in stock condition I have taken it on some serious trails and gotten some weird looks from motocroosers.
Mostly though I ride on pavement and gravel.

I mostly do trail riding on my 1988 YZ125 (2-stoke).its a hell of a lot better then my first bike a XR75 1977.
