Anyone own a Pathfinder 2 from BHK?

I've finally got my knife search narrowed down to either the BHK PLSK 2 or the Boattail Scandi also from BHK. Does anyone own the PLSK 2 or maybe even both? I've been able to find some reviews of the Boattail but not much on the Pathfinder 2. I did have my heart set on a BCNW-01 from Bushcraft Northwest but with my own handle material it was just a bit too expensive (and I think they are out of stock at the moment).

I own the scandi bushcrafter the heat treat on the o1 is outstanding the knife is very well made and feels great in hand
 
I bought a BHK from their booth a few years ago at a gun show. I didnt have enough money for a sheath (bought 2 guns) and they threw me one for free. J.T is a stand up guy and i cant say enough good things about the company. I have no doubt either will be a great knife. the plsk runs more towards my taste but it seems you are interested in more traditional blades so the boattail may be more up your alley, i also like the kydex sheath of the pathfinder better.


that being said.... the knife you want is just $25-40 more, why dont you save up a little more (dig throught the couch for change, eat ramen, etc) until you can get the knife that you REALLY want. there is really no reason i can see, not to. Your serious about knives, and your serious about using them so you deserve the tool you want and will make you happy. just await a little longer and get what you really want, because sooner or later your probably going to decide to buy that knife anyways so your actually saving money in the long run. besides its already january so they will be shipping soon.
Think about it.
 
I own a few knives from Blind Horse Knives, with the Boattail Scandi being my favorite. Usually not a fan of guardless knives, but the handle is long enough so I don't feel like I'm too close to the edge. Took it on a few camping trips & it sharpened up easily.

But it seems like you really want the other knife, so I'd suggest save up for what you really want.
