Anyone own a Xikar 118 Elan? or other suggestions for small black handle folder?

I am looking at this knife and wondering if it is a good buy...

I have one of their cigar cutters and am pretty pleased with it...

any other suggestions appreciated, only requests are that the handle is black, the look is simple and classic (and somewhat elegant) and that it isn't priced through the stratosphere. Thanks
 
The Xikar immediately reminded me of the Spyderco Vieles.

You won't be disappointed, as they're great knives. Have a cool look to them too.

I'm sure many other forumites can give you other recommendations of high-quality designs that are also reasonably-priced.
 
I have both the Xicar and the U2--both nice. The U2 is IMO the better knife-the Xicar is better looking and a liner lock.

Hey Greg, which Xikar do you have? the carbon or the MOP...if I go this route I am considering the carbon thanks.
 
The Fallkniven U2 is an awesome knife! There are much better knives out there than Xikar.
