...the Shrike more precisely.... I really like the looks of these things.... any comments?

Dont own one, but have heard nothing but good about them....

I have an Eagle Talon.

They are thick, awesome, and chop fairly well.

They reak of quality.

But I've handled the Shrike, (and the Loggerhead, Jenny Wren, and Kestral), and it feels pretty nic as well.

I'm waiting on a 13" Shrike just now, after playing with the Eagle Talon it took about the seconds for me to make my mind up that I needed something from RMJ. :p I'm fighting the urge to add the Loggerhead to my order as well, that looks like a really nice piece.

No, but I wish I did. I have never heard anything bad
about them, that is always a plus.

I have an older model shrike, #0240 and a new kestrel. Both excellent hawks. The only problem is. Don't be in a hurry to get one. Normal waiting time, 2-3 months.

Unless you get it at Blade,

NO wait time :D

Although, Blade is still 5 or so months ouut :(

A few guys I work with carry the Kestrel, its a hell of a tool, perfect for breeching, and a grade A man stopper when it come to defensive use. I’m partial to Daniel Winkler’s tomahawks; but I having handled the Kestrel I can tell you that; you will probably find nothing better than what RMJs makes ( but Winkler’s breeching Axe is my favorite)
