Anyone own heard or owned this knife? First post!

Welcome to Bladeforums. Never heard of that knife brand. I'm glad you found something that worked well for your needs.

I'd keep it and use it if I were you. Beat it up and practice sharpening, for $20 it is hard to go wrong. :) Aus-8 is a pretty good steel and will take a sharp edge pretty easily; it isn't really all that long ago that it was considered to be a higher end stainless.

After that, why not look into better blades. Like those made by Kershaw, Spyderco, Benchmade, etc.

Welcome to the forums!

I haven't heard of that brand, how well has the knife served you? What do you like and dislike about it? I'm sure after browsing the forum for a while you will soon replace that knife and never look back.

Never heard of it. Just looked it up, it's an average cheap $20 range knife. The one I pulled up said it had AUS-8 steel which is the same used on the Ontario RAT 1 folders. (excellent budget knife, my EDC)

If it's working for you then keep it!

welcome!
I think you will find many here helpful and humble as seen from your replies.

The company has been around a while. They cater to hunters, more than hobbyists, so we don't hear about them as much as they deserve. Good entry-level or better, excellent designs. Check out the whole website.

I've owned a few of them and my father-in-law uses one of their swing-blade designs and really likes it. I think I had 3 of those folders at one point if I remember correctly and I gave him one as well. All of them held up great and saw quite a bit of use the last couple of years. I ended up giving my others away as gifts and everyone that I gave them to loved them. They make them in a G10 as well as rubberized handle scales.

OH, and welcome to the forums!!

Never heard of the brand. But when I go to Academy, I buy workout stuff, nothing else. If it works for ya, then keep it and use it. If you hang around this forum long enough, you'll be buying more knives more frequently than you think.

Welcome to BF!

I don't have the model you own, but I do have the now discontinued Wedge 2 by Outdoor Edge (3" blade, very slim profile) and for the price it's a good knife that feels excellent in the hand.

I agree! They are rather popular around here and seem to be pretty good.

I have that knife but with the clip. It works well for the price. That clip has damaged my doors and wood around the house more than any other knife I have. Also it looks like it can be taken apart to clean, but under the scales it's pinned construction, except for the pivot. The company is based in the Denver area and I actually see them pretty often around here. The swing blade mentioned earlier is a great knife for opening the belly on your hunting spoils.

Have fun with it and when your ready look at Spyderco and bench made
