I've been jonesing for one of Chris Crawford's sweet little EDC models for the last three years and I'm finally going to get one within the next week or two. Anyone own any of his knives? I'm looking at one with an O-1 blade and either carbon fiber scales or maroon Micarta. Can't wait! Since I spend most of my day playing doctor, I need an EDC that doesn't take up my entire pocket and that doesn't have a clip or anything. I like my Case canoe models, too, but they're a little on the heavy side. Anyway, any impression you have to share of Chris's work is much appreciated. He has one available with awesome stag scales, but I think the synthetics are more up my alley right now...

I've only heard good things about Chris' slipjoints, but I've never handled one. That CF one he has available looks pretty sweet for the price, but the one at the top of his available page, with jigged bone scales and nickle silver bolsters/liners, really makes me wish I had some spare cash.

the same one you are looking at is the same one I have been wanting, so I broke down and ordered one.

Seems like a top notch guy,,,expect it wed or thurs, so I will post a review,,

i need a thin, light knife also,,,

i expect it to be a real gem, and a value for what hes asking...

I will update!

this is a top notch knife,,,

I love it, the quality is really nice, and I think it is quite elegant. The knife is small and will be great to wear with a suit,,,

I already want another!

it is a bargain for the price I paid, and I hope people after seeing this post, have Chris make them a knife. He makes really nice stuff, I am very very pleased. You won't be disapointed.

Heres the link to mine.

Glad to hear it! Of course since I posted this message a million and one things have come up I need to spend money on and I have a couple knives stalled that don't want to sell! DOOOOHHHH!
What do you make of that handle material? Is it G-10 or CF? It doesn't look like any CF I've seen before, but there's a lot out there I've never seen. What do you think? WHEN I get mine, I'm going with maroon linen Micarta. That's the one I've been in love with forever.

its definately cf,

you have to look at one to appreciate it, the picture doesnt do it justice..

a nice grey and black pattern,

this is one very light knife, and very sharp..

it would be a nice knife for a doctor, salesman, businessman type,,,

i really like mine...

Hmmmm.... well, I'll probably still go Micarta. Maybe one in CF, too, down the road. And maybe a stag one for when I feel like a real man... And maybe one in Blaze orange G-10 so if I drop it in the woods I can find it... and maybe you got the idea! :D

it would be a nice knife for a doctor, salesman, businessman type,,,
I'm a chiropractor, so that qualifies me in the doctor category! Woohoo! :D
