Mine just came in this week so I can't really give any opinions on it. I'll stick in a pic, instead.

I believe Operator1975's Black Donald is essentially the same axe and he's written a comprehensive review recently.

How's the handle feel? Looks like a nice thin handle.

It looks really nice. I'm undecided between the new velvicut and a "regular" 3.5 lb jersey head from them.

The handle is nice and slim, however, I think 36" is a bit long for me.

Well, so far so good. I had a brief opportunity to do some cutting. I think this is a good chopper. I'll be doing more work in the coming weeks and I'm looking forward to use this axe.

Here is a couple pics of mine.

As far as overall construction and quailty I would say it is top notch. With the proper care and maintenance I will take pride in handing this axe over to my sons a long time from now.

The jersey bit is it's brother from council tool.
