Anyone planning on buying anymore LE16's?

I got one, debating to get another one. Seems like sales took a nose dive! Still have 122 left. Could be awhile to sell all them at this rate, with the production models coming out soon. Any thoughts? I want another one, but I want my 5 a little but more, when I get the funds built back up next week. I thought these would run out in a week or two.

Sucks it doesn't fit your hand, fits mine ok , but would like to have a little more girth.

i just grabbed a second one this weekend. i f'ed up my first one, not happy with my etch job, so i'm trying again. but like warrior, i may wait until the FFG comes out and compare them, see which i like better.

warrior, you saw my thread where i didn't like my etch results, but the handle turned out well, shapewise. i shaped mine thicker than the stock handles. it made a big difference for me on the fit. now that i'm all practiced up, i'm going to do it again on the next one, but better. totally worth doing.



edit: just saw the length vs width thing. i did the handle full length also, instead of the cutout. it didn't add a bunch in actual measurement (couple millimeters, probably), but what it added filled the back end of my palm better.

Never owning a Becker before, my first one arrived today. The FPR 16 completely exceeded my expectations. It fits perfect in my hands and just feels right. I've also ordered the FPR 17 and will also be ordering the FFG 16. Holy Squatch Balls.....I just realized I've been bit by the Beckeritus and I've got a feeling there isn't a cure...

I'm good with one. Never got a handle on dual wielding. FFG for sure.

I was going to buy another one just because there will only be so many new saber grind 16s to be had, but the fact that the last ones are taking so long to sell and will only take longer with the release of the regular productions make me feel like one safe queen is enough, especially since I'll be buying the FFG 16 upon release as a user.

I was thinking about eventually selling my FPR 16 and turning a meager profit on it but now I am thinking it will be a long time before I will eventually be able to turn and burn this thing. Moving more and more towards just hanging onto it as a personal collectible, also every time I pull it out and fondle it, it makes me want to just use it more and more. Hopefully the regular production 16 will scratch that itch.

Nothing like getting a Becker with free money! Congrats on the contest! I was thinking about doing the same thing,having one to mod. I got some blue snake skin
coming for the handle and then, maybe do some patina like snake skin pattern on the blade , then blue it! Copy Rights by RUNTOTHEHILLS! lol!
