I like swedges and was wondering if a wicked edge would work. Looking for advice before I mess up a knife. Thanks

I have no experience with the wicked edge system, but I have swedged a couple knives using a TSPROF...

Swedges are common on bowies , fighting knives , some bushcraft , field knives etc .

Functional swedges vary from nearly sharp to very sharp . They have many uses, but can get in the way of some utility .

I put a crude swedge on my Cold Steel Dip Forged Bowie , using a flap disc on an angle grinder .

Seems like using a WE might be very slow going? Depending on the spine thickness and blade hardness. I've done it with a belt grinder (careful not to overheat!) but without that, maybe do the grunt work with sandpaper or a diamond file, then finish with the WE?

Oh wait maybe he means a powered WE
