Anyone receive any knives from Ernie lately?

I am just curious to know if anyone has received any customs from Emerson lately? I have been on the list for almost 6 years and have yet to receive it. Earlier this week I spoke with their shop and was told my invoice number #913 should be up for this year...hopefully. Please advise if you have received your order and what your invoice number was so we can all guage our progress. Thanks again.
 
It would be awfully aggressive for you to get your invoice# 913 this year when my invoice in the low 700s is still undelivered. Ernie did personally promise me delivery "by the end of summer", though, so I'll let you know if it arrives in the next twenty days...

I obtained a CQC-6 this Feb but I think my invoice was less than 300, I waited 5 years,
1995-2000.
 
Pssst.... To give you guys a little insight & for whatever it's worth. I know that Emerson is working on a few customs as we speak. I have (2) CQC6's there right now for a refurbishing. The girl told me that Emerson was working in the shop making a few customs & would be redoing my knives at the same time.
 
Pssst... those customs are probably being prepared for the Blade West show. Deposit-paying customers don't get their knives before the dealer crowd, don't ya know?
 
I'm just happy that he's making customs. More customs means more knives in circulation, thus betters my chances of getting my hands on a CQC5.....Maybe.
 
Do you guys think that he will have some knives for sale at the blade west show? last year he didn't bring any with him and the year before that they were gone 5 minutes after they opened the doors! Who knows maybe I can grease the hand of some employee who can sneak me in a few seconds early. Every second counts when you are vying for Emersons. Anyways, thanks for the info and I am curious to see if anyone else has received their knife.

I got an e-mail from Eknives about a month before Ernie annouced his semi-retirement and was told I would recieve my knife in late
2001 or early 2002,my order date was 11/97

Emerson tends to be optomistic. I checked my invoice number which was 262 ordered in 1995, arrived spring 2000. My last invoice 1641 was ordered just before Emerson stoped taking orders. It will be a long time time before I see that knife!
