First of all let's clear up why I want them. I want more speed.
So would kevlar, ceramic, or silicone or some other material washer reduce the coefficient of friction when the washer are smacked up against the tang/lock structure? If it does can anyone recommend me one that perfectly fits and is thin enough to fit inside the Yojimbo 2? I mainly ask about this for my trainer as it's a bit of a slog and I don't know why.

Sometimes polishing the washers makes them a littlr smoother. Generally if you cant find it with a quick google seaech they dont exist lol

Changing the washers won't help. If the knife is difficult to open, there's probably something wrong with how it's set up. I'd send it in for warranty repair if you can't figure it out yourself.

Did it get the same treatment as the crooked Spydiechef?
The crooked spydiechef isn't fixed yet, I mean it has great lockup now because of what I did but it won't get straight nomatter what I do. However...

I managed to fix it tonight, poped it open and get what: it still has the original wear from breaking it in. Took some lighter fluid to the lock bar, the tang, the pivot, and the washers. Then I dotted each with St.Claire's nano-oil and it's back to being quick, but still not as quick as the CF ones, or one again I sold the s90v blade to someone on here after a sharpening snafu :(.
