Anyone remember the Roll-X?

From Edge Company? it had a swell center micarta and nickel silver handle, and a 440 surgical stainless clip point blade. The opening/locking mechanism was a cross between a thumb stud, and a half-guard. It was about seven or eight inches over all. Wasn't a well made knife by any means, but before the internet, you got your knives where you could.

if anyone can find a pic of this knife i'd appreciate it.

I found one.

It was called the roll-x and the maker was sarco. Mine was sold through edge co. in 1995, and was about 30-40 dollars.

the price seems to have gone up a bit these last ten years :grumpy:

I wish I still had mine.

I have a bunch of these they are great knives. They are well made for their time. They are much better than the Rapid italian ones. I got them from Sarco for $22 each back then .....
