I think it would look great in black with the blue spacers rather than the two tone with the gray. Anyone dye theirs yet? I'm tempted to go black or even dark blue. I had success on my PM2 with royal blue, seems like black on gray would go easy.

REALLY wish BM had just gone with CF like the 940-1. I do have some Cuscadi CF scales because they didnt.

Not a Griptillian, but I did try the RIT effect (blue) on a pair of tan G10 scales just for fun.
It made them look like denim.

I used a 50/50 mix of dye and water, and "cooked" them for about 2 hours.
After the first 1/2 hour, the dye had no effect, so I just kept cooking and it worked.

Took me about an hour to do my digi camo PM2 royal blue. Adding vinegar for the second half hour really helped.

I agree, I feel like that specific grip model would look great with darker scales. I haven’t RIT dyed any grips, but I've had success RIT dyeing my green 531-1501. They turned out blackish/blue (depending on lighting). I say go for it! I think they’d look awesome darker with the blue spacers and satin blade.

It will probably happen down the line.

The only difficulty on their end with the Grip is choosing one blade variation to stick with for a model -1 release. There’s three variations in the custom configurator excluding the ritter.. They didn’t have that problem with all the other -1 releases.

jI have a new Bushcrafter fixie! It has the coyote tan scale and I used dark walnut die permanent marker dye on it. It looks great.
