After i lube my sebenza with teflon fishing reel lube it tends to pick up alot of pocket lint, like all knives do. I was wondering if i could run it with no lube, since it has phosphor bronze washers. My only concern would be the lock face. I know most titanium galls, and chris hardens his; so it might not be a problem. While im on this topic, does the lock face even need to be lubed, i lube it cause i dont want any premature ..um...wear that is. ;) I know chris builds these sebbies like a tank but i still want to give my little sebbie the best care. So are there any non lubers out there?

CRK suggests lightly lubing the blade where the lock touches it.

I've never used my Sebenza w/o lube, so I'm not sure how well that would work. However, it probably wouldn't be a good idea and would more than likely cause premature wear on the knife. After all, you wouldn't run your car without oil, would you?

Been trying to run my Sebbie @ 3500 RPM.
Guess I'm just getting old. Can only manage 30

Sounds daft but I spray mine with furniture polish and that seems to do the trick!

White Lightening, and Miltec are both good slick, light lubes.I would not try dry though.
