The movie was great, paced itself really well. Until the glowing orbs showed up. I love sci fi movies, but the movie fell to pieces when they started down the extraterrestrial path.
What happened in the end? I get that the whole SF team gets taken out by the phantom Taliban, by the ufo triangle ships, and that some wealth of knowledge is imparted to the CIA agent, making him levitate in a catatonic state.
The whole movie was paced well, to start off with. After it went down the E.T. route, it went to hell.
