it's unfortunate when one of our infinatics does this to another. I feel for you.

I don't see the need to post links to another thread when the focus of THIS thread is to locate the guy.

Seems like some have had good experiences with this guy... but once the money is good, shipping should be immediate IMO, thats what I'd do... best way to keep good relations etc etc... having good communications is a must when dealing with expensive goods on the secondary market...


I really hope this pans out for you bud for the best... although I would probably be doing exactly the same as you... opening a paypal dispute is best if you can't hear from the buyer... I know people slate paypal, but they have resolved 2 cases for me where a false ebay item was listed, and I got my money back on both counts... paypal tends to favour the buyer in a big way

I on the other hand feel that everyone has a right to know when somethings gone wrong.
you would rather keep people ignorant of events?
If you read the thread you will notice he's been seen on the forum several times. That thread speaks for itself. Everyone here will now have seen that thread and that is all that matters, whether it turns out good or not is irrelevant to everyone knowing what is going on.

I hope he's OK also of course.... he's been seen here and could have got someone to let the seller know what was up if he could not type.

There was a big need to post the link here since alot of us in this room buy from the exchange, but some like me rarely go to the GDU....I will start though.

No disrepect to you at all brother...just wanted to tell you why I think it needed to be here:)
 
If he's been "seen" online and still not responded, then I do agree w/ posting the links.

Last time I read the GBU thread, he hadn't been "seen" online except once, then someone suggested the possibility that the wife/kid used that SN.

I also hope it all works out well.
