I picked up this knife from a gun shop about 10 years ago. It was made by Randall Gilbreath using a Parker Edwards damascus blank. The knife looks like a Loveless designe to me and the top edge is sharpened. Ive had this in a glass case for years and its still hair popping sharp even though it could use a good wipe down. Handle appears to be stag. It is numbered so I was wondering how many are out there. Ive never heard of Randall Gilbreath otherwise.

Made from a kit, I would guess. Probably no collector value beyond the original price of the materials.

Gilbreath is a legitimate maker. I dont think this was a kit. Parker Edwards did make damascus knives in the 70s until 86 and they sold bar stock but I dont think they sold kits. In any event the value is really not in question. I just like the knife.

Yes, I have one of their damascus folders.

and they sold bar stock
I suspect they also sold ready-to-use blades. If your knife started out as bar stock and was formed into a blade by the maker, it probably wouldn't still have the Parker-Edwards stamp.

I just like the knife.
I like it too.

Could be a kit. I would like to know more about Gilbreath, doesnt seem to be much on the web even though he has a few pieces floating around.
