Anyone seen the Tactical Segway?

Geez, don't show that to our cheif.... We have tried two different stand-up vehicles for patrol.
The first was the American Chariot. A three-wheeled number with a wrap-around chariot-like shell around your lower body. What a POS....
Now, we have two of the "T3 Motion " vehicles, which are also 3-wheeled with the drive wheel in front. So far, one took off by itself on being started and ran up a wall, while another dumped one of our officers on some gravel...
We haven't tried the actual Segway yet, though a neighboring department got two of 'em.
I'm perfectly happy with my bicycle.

Chatted to a couple of the security guys at our local mall, they have some Segways. They like them for speed, small size, better visibility through crowds as you are higher up and you can secure them quickly when you get off. Bicycles good but one told me he had his stolen by perp B as he was collaring perp A after a pursuit. Not good.

I think it rules. I wonder what its max towing capacity is. Could it get me and say... 500lbs of gear off the trail. I mean for combat it my not be good... keeping your head down is kind of a rule when in combat. But it might be useful for moving supplies or injured people.

Just read that the owner of the company just drove a ruggedized version off a cliff.
