Anyone seen this Sebenza???

That is one of 40 "Blue Circles" Umfaans, the initial run after the multi-colored and numbered "PP" Umfaans were anodized blue by mistake. A nice addition for someone.

Too bad this nice little blue circles Umfaan has been outed here where every Sebenza junkie and his mother hangs out.:D

Look for the price to go through the roof on this one now.

I want this one... hmm ... we need to work out a deal so it doesn't go to some pricing war :)

I looked at it today and saw "junkyard111" and I was like, hmmm... hehe

edit: fixed name

Humpty,
Are you "OHVD" He/She seems to be the primary person bidding against me. And yes, I am "Junkyard111."

Jason

Edited for spelling

I saw one sell to a collector a couple of years ago for close to 7 bills:eek:

Nice buy, I guess everyone is saving their money for this. I'm waiting to hear from the owner to see if it is indeed an H marked Sebenza, I can't bid on it myself but am interested to see the markings.

Being a left handed sort of a bloke I may be interested in this.

Stjames - have you had any details as yet??

I recieved an email that it is indeed H41, been in a safe for a decade. The owner said he will fax me a copy of the paperwork, I'll post that if possible.

No bids yet, look for a war at the end of the action.

The "H" designation means that it is an early model from back in the days when Chris Reeve handmade the knives himself.

I am sure others here, can give more information regarding the dates they were made and such... And I think that this one being a lefty makes it very rare.

I too am new to this forum, but I have been reading a LOT while waiting for my first Sebenza to arrive! I have gone back and skimmed nearly the last 2 years worth of posts. :D - keeping me busy while I wait, and I have learned quite a bit!

Heh heh, I see you were high bidder anyway! :D

Didn't reach the reserve though, too bad, it deserves a nice home.

I just couldn't help myself. Can't believe there were only two bids, the economy must be worse off than I thought.

:o

I was the first bid on that auction! I figured if I won it for $150 it would have been a steal!

I knew I wouldn't win, but I figured what the heck...hehe...

But that means that most of the bids were from Bladeforums! haha!
