although some may find this offensive i've known it was a custom of gurkas for many years.all in all i do'nt find this nearly as cruel as bullfighting.a quick end is what all creatures would appreciate.
 
if i'm not mistaken, such slaughter is carried out in a religious festival called Dasain.
FYI, a really nasty staged life animal sacrifice can be viewed in the movie Apocalypse Now.
which is probably in bad taste.
