I mailed in my BCCI Silver Anniversary Event (30 July-2 Aug 2013) Form with $170 payment last week. I am taking the young son and I to the 4-day event. The amount includes the Lake Cruise for both of us.

I called and already have a hotel reservation at the recommended hotel in the newsletter.

This will be a great father-son bonding event, vacation, and overall learning event. Both of us are becoming strong Buck knife supporters!

You will not be disappointed. I will be there and there will be some wide eyes as you take the BCCI only special factory tour. We are going to get to go to areas no one gets to go to and even talk to folks. I am looking forward to ti....... I will be there working at a BCCI table somewhere. You will know me by my neck knife leather sheath with a 303 in it.....hope to see lots of folks that we all only talk with on the computers. 300

I looked into both driving with my camper, seeing the sites along the way and also looking at flying to Buck, maybe take a short trip to Glacier, then fly home. While figuring out which is best way for me, I noticed the form says to send it in as quickly as possible, but I noticed there isn't a final date for sending it in. So, I am just wondering if there is a dead line for sending in the form. Does anyone know, I want to go, I just need a little time in figuring out my schedule, but I don't want to miss the boat, so to speak. (I saw they are having a evening cruise on Wednesday, so I may actually miss the boat, if I am late.)

ya i am looking foward to seeing 300 {and YOU mr dave martin } there also!!
i will have to print out a forum and send it in ..
sadly i want be able to aforde the wed cruse ...
jest being able to make it to post falls ( i live in florida) will be all i can handle
unless i give up two other knife shows.. gaterland and atlanta.. .. not an easy choice but
they stayed on the menu and the boat trip had to go ...

Well Folks, Looks like SHOT show taking over time on the forum, still no USA 300s with jigged bone and fancy steel. But I can talk about the BCCI Idaho event.

There is no deadline, but we would GREATLY appreciate folks making there reservations as soon as they know they are going. This will help in planning the event. Lots of really late reservations makes things difficult. So any consideration in that area will be appreciated from the planning committee. 300

I got home for my second day off from hiking the Florida Trail late last night and got all forms sent in today...cruise and event fees.

Also ordered a set of the four knives offered and made reservations at the host hotel.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I will figure out what our plans will be shortly and then send in our form. Life is sometimes complicated and I just want to be sure we can make this event.

I did get the BCCI envelope last week with enclosed welcome letter, Spokane Vistors Guide, and Mirabeau Park Hotel and Convention Center brochure!

They sent a Lake Cruse brochure, but do not mention we are in, out, or paid?

I'll be going for sure! I'm quite excited about the whole thing. I'll be sure to send in my form next week!

Yes, I got the same envelope. But I think (hope) we'll get more informations later.

The cruise is a done deal as Georgia made it clear that DM, 110 Dave and 300bucks were in charge of doing the rowing and the rest can relax! And, that double life preservers will be issued to hardware carrying attendees who, if overboard, would otherwise go straight to the bottom with only one vest on. :)

I called Georgia on the number provided in the letter. She seems like a nice person on the phone! Georgia said the tickets will be in your packet when you check in! I will bring coppy of my VISA statement and copy of my orginial application just in case!

Really wishing I could go... Especially considering I have family in Post Falls! I have to be out of town that week and I CANNOT get out of it. I am so bummed!!!!!!!

The time clock slowly ticks forward whether we want it to or not.

Let me bump this idea. I will be taking photos to share here and other spots. I believe there may be a video being made also.

BUT, think about your own interests and get, borrow or whatever a camera. Makes sure you have plenty of battery(s) and know how to use it. Practice taking photos inside with flash before going. I would NOT count totally on you phone photos for this. They have a habit of being battery low needing charged when taking a bunch of photos. This will be especially important during factory tour and seeing the factory museum. A small fairly recent digital camera will fit the bill. If you don't have one, I bet some relative or friend with small kids does and will let you borrow.

I recommend the above idea for your serious consideration...........

PS....I know like others this is a pocketbook drainer, so I am giving you a warning so you will be ready for the threat.

ONE:The factory store will have good (special) stuff. Your credit card company will be smiling. Be Strong

TWO: If you didn't know it - Cabela's is just across the highway from the factory. At least it is a couple miles from the hotel...ha

The camera is a great idea...Thank you for advising.

The factory store will have good (special) stuff.............Does this imply knives not in the Buck Catalog? New old stock? Pro deal prices?
