Anyone sent knife from UK for a refurb ?

I'm just wondering if customs will charge me a fortune, thinking it's a new knife, or whether they'll base the charges on the cost of the refurb ?

I have!!!

They charged me, on return, cause they missed the "return after warranty repairs" CRK put EVERYWHERE on the package! BUT I wrote a letter and in a month I got a check back from HM Customs!!!

Make sure you tell CRK that they should write VERY visibly that it is repair under warranty!

Mike, write a letter inside the box with the knife, "returned for repair" also on the custom papers. And CRK will do wonders with that baby! Wow...if only that steel could talk!...what stories it must have:thumbup:
