Anyone strip a Gladius yet?

So I got me a Gladius finally. Love it, what a cool blade. I tradtionally do not like coatings on blades. I'm wondering if anyone has stripped one yet and what does it look like under the coating. Is it bead blasted, satinish, that dark gray parkerizing stuff? When I stripped my AK-47 it had grooves in the steel like machine marks. Anything like this on the Gladius?

AZTimT stripped his and did a pretty complete review on it, I'm sure with a quick search you can find it.

If I remember right, the Gladius has the dark undercoating.

If the new batch is done the same as the first ones it will be about medium on the darkness. Not too many dimples but not super smooth either. Only one way to really find out though!
