Anyone stripped an Izula necker?

I'm curious to know of there is anyone here that has stripped the coating from a RAT Izula. I am going to buy one soon and I am thinking I might get rid of the coating because I am not a fan of coatings generally and I tend to keep my knives well oiled. Plus, I like a little patina on a well worn blade.

If anyone has stripped one down, I'd love to see some pics. I want to know what kind of machining marks may be hidden under that coating.
 
Try looking in the RAT forum. I know I've seen several pictures of a stripped Izula, but I can't remember the user, or which section. Your best bet would be the Izula pics, since the other ones will have all the different RAT knives, so theres a lot more to sift through, although..... looking at a bunch of RAT knives is hardly a bad thing.... :D
 
Thanks for the advise. I've been away for a while and have forgotten some of the subforums and such. I'll check that out.
