You know, so you'd end up with a black handled S110V bladed Para 2 as well as a blurple handled Para 2 with a black blade and all black hardware.

I have two coming to see if I really want to do it or not. If I do I will post pics. :)

Hey David!! I like that idea!
My blurple PM2 took a header off a ladder and messed up one of the scales, so I got a nice pair of CF scales and a pretty cool back spacer.
I love this knife!!

I did a swap between an all black PM2 and gray CTS-20CP PM2 a few years ago. In the end I just did a blade swap, because I could not get the press-fitted lanyard tube out of one of the liners. They can be tricky...

I still have the black 20CP and carry it often. I traded the other one for a Caly 3 CF, which is also still in use, so it turned out great. :)

I haven't done a FrankenSpyder in a while, but a black blade and Blurple handle would look great together! Black clip and hardware too.

My brother swapped the blurple handles with his all black pm2. I really like the look of it. I'll try to find some pics on my pc when I get home tomorrow.

I screwed up a set of black G10 scales, because of the lanyard tube, installing a blade into Casey Lynch scales. If the tube is really chamfered, after removal, it can be sanded smooth/flat a bit on each side to clean up the chamfer for the new scales. Some of the newer Para's, the tube doesn't seem to be pressed into the G10 as much.

Good luck with the swap.

I have both knives in my posession now and I have to tell ya, they are both soooo perfect that I don't want to do it. Both of these knives are perfect in every way. Perfect centering, lock up, no play. Both blades drop freely when you release the lock. I don't want to mess with the perfection.

;)

Do it, do it, do it, do it!!!!!

If I got knives that fit that well, I d leave them alone.

Don't do it David!!!! But it would look soooooooo devilishly devilish......do it do it do it!!!
All kidding aside, I have changed scales on 4 out of the 5 Para 2s I have. All had action like you describe before the swaps.........and they have the same exact action after.
If you really want to do it, don't hesitate.
Let us know what you decide!

Blueblur, thanks for the pic. Looks good...but not as good as I had hoped. I think I'm gonna pass on this. Really appreciate the pic.
