  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Anyone tried this?

I think you can buy Cratex rubber eraser like thingies to give you that kind of finish, with work of course.

Not difficult, just time consuming. Anyone interested in trying it should do a search for "jewel" or "engine turn" in the shoptalk section. Easiest if you have a drill press, but there are other ways.

I tried it, it's kina a lot harder than I thought. I think I may need to get those special bits.

Jay... There's a page on that site about prices, but it's like cost for a ____'s blade, or cost for a Cricket's scales, ect.
