it work's well , just put it in a spot where you can clean the grinding's easily.It's worth the coin if you have a lot of bit's to do. Read the Instruction's wear safety glass's, practice on some broken 'bit's .

I have one but have not gotten the hang of it. It seems a little awkward to me but I need to sit down with it and watch the video again and such. I have heard plenty of folks say they like it.

Don't try with carbide bits!

It works. Pretty well too. My father made me sharpen a whole box, not an index, but a friggen huge box of old rusty bits. It took a long time on some too, cuz a lot of them were freehanded by my grandfather.

If you use a split point/grooved bit, It will eventually grind that off. I wouldn't recommend using them on expensive bits.
