I've been carrying an A.G. Russell Acies with ZDP-189 for a few months and really like it a lot and wondered if anyone here has tried the 0350 w/ZDP-189 yet and if so what are your thoughts?

The ONLY other knife that's taken pocket time away from my Acies is the 0551 and I can hardly wait for my 0560!

Nobody? I wondered is the ZDP-189 version of the ZT0350 was a limited production/Sprint Run or is it to stay in their line up. I see that several are in stock at one of my favorite online knife stores.....love to hear some feedback if anybody has one.
Thanks guys.

I just got mine this week. Not a lot of time to try it out yet. I really like my ZT0350CB that I have had for a while. It will be interesting to compare the Elmax and ZDP-189. Most are probably like me and hadn't had time to use theirs much as this knife has just started shipping.

I guess I didn't realize that ZT was making knives in ZDP-189. I really love the steel and have a ZDP-189 Spyderco Stretch that I EDC quite often IMO it's good to see ZT and Kershaw branch out and try new blade steel.

I love my Spyderco Endura ZDP-189. If you like the style of the ZT you cannot go wrong with ZDP-189.

Actually, the steel is not new to us as we've used solid ZDP-189 for many years in Kershaw boutique runs.

I believe the wonderful A.G. Russell Acies was made by Kershaw to Mr. Russell's specifications. He did a great job (as always) designing it and Kershaw did a fantastic job making it. It's my first ZDP-189 blade and I'm loving it.

Hey guys im going to be purchasing an 0350 soon and i dont know if i should go for zdp. i really care about toughness this will be for utility and at work for CBP (think cutting apart car seats, carpet, maybe a gas tank occasionally;) im not worried about how hard they are to sharpen etc... kershaw will take care of that. thanks (also should i look at the elmax composite as well?)
